Hi, I’m Tom François, data scientist and research software engineer working at LAPP, CNRS (Annecy, France).

I have an engineering degree in signal processing and a PhD in computer vision. I have been developping softwares for computer vision using machine learning techniques in several structures in private companies and public research laboratories. My main subjects of focus are : computer vision, object detection, image segmentation, convolutional neural network.

Current duties:

• contributor in gammalearn project : deep learning framework for gamma-ray event reconstruction.
• software engineer / data scientist in IDEFICS, structure to support companies starting AI projects.
• contributor in the EVERSE project, part of WP2 (Bet practices and RSQKit) and WP3 (Tools and Services).
• member and contributor of OSSR, Open-source scientific Software and Service Repository.
